Cats have always been part of my life, starting with Billy, the black & white moggy who moved in with us when I was a child. My 1st brush with pedigrees, was Serena, a rescue half Persian. She should have put me off pedigrees for life as she was an absolute terror, but we had her for many years & was sadly missed when she left us.

Although I have always been passionate about cats I didn’t feel able to become a breeder as I have always worked full time and was concerned that I wouldn’t be “on call” (pardon the pun), when kittens were due, but when I started working form home I felt able to do so.

I started breeding Abyssinians,a "haughty" breed in 1987 & quickly got involved with the Abyssinian Cat Club, serving on the committee for a time. I was delighted when my home bred neuter boy Delaret Renoir acheived the GCCF title of Grand Premier. It was while breeding Abyssinians that I became interested in the genetics involved in breeding different colours & wrote a report which was puplished in the Abyssinian Cat Club magazine "Papyrus". This was written before the now readily available computer programs on the subject became available.
I first met Lorraine Brown in 1997 when I was looking for a semi longhaired tabby and was introduced to Koolfur Ben Cassio (Ragnor) a Norwegian Forest Cat. He is an absolute darling and purrs for England.

Although I had followed Lorraines interest in the Siberians & later the Neva Masquerades I had no intension of having any of my own, but when Koolblue Nemean Jack was born on my birthday it just had to be!
Jack has done very well on the show bench, quickly gaining his CHAMPION STATUS followed by his PREMIER title after he was neutered, & has recently become an INTERNATION PREMIER.

Siberians have fascinating characters & prove to be a captivating breed, & thereby hangs my downfall, I just had to have another one, & so along came Koolblue Helizabel (Izzy). She has also done well at shows:- BEST IN SHOW KITTEN
BEST IN SHOW JUNIOR, & becoming a CHAMPION in November 2009.


First & foremost my cats are much loved pets and are with me for life, consequently I will not be having many litters, but they will be happy healthy kittens, a credit to the breed & those who have worked so hard to promote the breed.
